Joe Henderson PTG

Pawsitively Dedicated To Our School

What is the Joe Henderson PTG?

The PTG is the Joe Henderson Parent Teacher Group, our equivalent of a PTA/PTO. We're made up of parents, teachers, caregivers, extended family members, mentors, and anyone else who is directly related to a Joe Henderson student. Anything we do is made possible by our wonderful school community.

We are dedicated to raising funds to provide students with exciting programs like the Art Docent Program, and community events like Joechella and the Ice Cream Social. We also provide teachers with classroom supplies, including paying for copy room paper each year for the entire school so our teachers don't have to! We help pay for field trips, assemblies, library funds, campus improvements, teacher/staff requests, playground equipment, and much more!

you’re invited!

The PTG meets the first Tuesday of every month at 6pm in the school library. We will always announce when the meetings will take place, and childcare is provided. We aim to keep our meetings around an hour long to respect everyone’s time. Our meetings are brief but filled with information and opportunities to be involved in our activities, events, and ideas to support the school. They also provide a time to ask questions and hear from our Principal and Teacher Representatives regarding the happenings in our school community.

There are no fees, memberships or commitments to be involved with the PTG. You just need to show up when you can!
