NEW VOLUNTEERS

01. get fingerprinted

  • Download the form below (or pick up a copy at a BUSD school) and complete the Live Scan application:

  • Bring your completed form to a Live Scan location. Contact Live Scan locations directly regarding pricing for DOJ and FBI background checks. You must do both.

  • Benicia Live Scan Locations:

    • The UPS Store, 77 Solano Square

    • Mail N More, 836 Southampton Rd #B

    • For additional locations, search here.

02. complete the tb assessment

  • Complete the TB Risk Assessment form linked below or pick up a copy at a BUSD school.

03. driver’s license

  • Make a digital copy of your driver’s license

04. complete the online busd volunteer application

  • Visit beniciaunified.org/families/get-involved and scroll down to Step 4 for instructions

  • On the upper righthand side of the application, be sure to select the correct application type

  • Fill out the application, upload the proper documents when requested and submit

  • After you submit, stay on the lookout for an email from the District within a week or two in case you are missing anything, etc.

RETURNING VOLUNTEERS

01. complete the online busd volunteer renewal application

  • After you submit, stay on the lookout for an email from the District within a week or two in case you are missing anything, etc.
