literacy night
Literacy Night is coming up on Thursday, March 12, 6–7:30pm in the multi-purpose room — this year's theme is Dragons! Everyone is welcome to shop at the Book Fair and celebrate reading together!
hounds day out
Join us on Sunday, March 22 for an afternoon of friends and live music, all while directly supporting Joe Henderson Elementary.
2-6pm, with live music from 2:30-5:30pm featuring Paper Kayak.
There will be an online auction, raffles, and family-friendly fun! This event is free and open to the public.
The online auction opens Monday, March 16th and will close Tuesday, March 24th.

What: A night of art! Come to make art projects celebrating art and culture from around the world.
This is not a drop-off event; you must attend with your child.

we are looking to fill our board for the 2026-2027 school year
We’re looking for a few awesome humans to join next year’s PTG Board! If you care about our school, like collaborating with great people, and want to help make fun things happen for our kids, we’d love to have you. No superpowers required—just a willingness to pitch in!
All the work we do is not possible without our dedicated volunteers. From Parliamentarian to President, we have Board roles and Support Roles for everyone! Dads, moms, grandparents, caretakers…anyone involved with a Joe Henderson student who wants to make a difference can get involved.
